Asus é conhecida por sua extensa programação netbook e eles parecem ser o reforço que ainda mais com um netbook com um ecrã de 12 polegadas, que não pode parecer que netbookish. Trata-se de construir em torno da tecnologia da NVIDIA Ion que deverá impulsionar o desempenho gráfico do netbook comparáveis aos laptops tradicionais.

Asus apresenta novos All-in-one PC

Ainda temos mais alguns itens apresentados pelas grandes fabricantes na última CEBIT, a Asus por exemplo, mostrou seus dois novos all-in-one PCs. O primeiro modelo é o ET2010PNT que possui o processador Intel Atom dual core D510 e uma placa de vídeo ION NVIDIA 2 ele possui 2GB de memória RAM (max 4GB).
Já o segundo modelo, o ET2010AGT EeeTop, por outro lado, possui o processador AMD Athlon X2 II 250U dual core de 1.6GHz, uma placa de vídeo ATI Radeon HD5470 e até 8GB de memória.
Ambos os modelos têm um display de 20 polegadas com a tecnologia multitoque.

Ele é projetado com base no painel P-IPS, sendo que sua tecnologia otimiza de uma forma impressionanete as cores e espaço de cor Adobe RGB além de oferecer um ângulo de visão ultra-wide.

Asus Lamborghini é anunciado

A Asus anunciou dois novos notebooks chamados de VX6 e VX&, ambos trazem como a logomarca da Lamborghini, uma marca que está sempre associada a carros de alta performance.
A idéia da empresa, é mostrar que realmente os seus novos notebooks são realmente potentes. O VX6 parece muito bom do lado de fora, especialmente porque ele é branco e conta com o logo da Lamborghini. No interior, este netbook de 12 polegadas é alimentado por um processador de 1.83GHz Atom dual-core D525, possui também uma placa de vídeo esporte NVIDIA ION 2, apesar de algumas pessoas que pensam que traria uma maior performance processador Intel CULV.
Outras especificações da VX6 são os seus 4 GB de RAM DDR3, Windows 7, e uma tela LCD de 12 com uma resolução máxima de 1366 x 768 pixel.
O outro notebook, o VX7 tem algumas especificações mais suculenta, oferecendo uma tela de 15.6 polegadas com resolução máxima de 1920 x 1080 pixel, processadores Core i3, i5 e i7 e suporta até 16GB de memória RAM.

Notebook Asus U6V Bamboo

Na onda dos “gadgets verdes”, o notebook Asus U6V Bamboo Series tem corpo revestido por lâminas de bambu, em vez de plástico ou metal. Mas seu apelo ecológico termina aí. Afinal, com uma bateria que dura apenas 42 minutos, ele abusa da tomada elétrica. Felizmente, isso não o impede de ser um ótimo laptop quando o assunto é desempenho, principalmente por causa da placa de vídeo edicada.

Esteticamente, a opção pelo bambu divide opiniões, mas sua força não se discute. Mesmo pesando apenas 1,6 quilo, o U6V tem carcaça resistente, inclusive na região da tela de 12,1 polegadas. Nem o touchpad escapa do revestimento exótico – sem prejuízo da usabilidade, diga-se, pois ele é tão sensível quanto o de qualquer notebook. Os detalhes cromados nas laterais deixam o micro charmoso.

Por dentro, a máquina tem configuração top para a categoria e conexões de sobra, mas nada que justifique o preço de 6 499 reais. A placa de Video Gforce 9300 GS vem acompanhada por uma saída HDMI, que permite a exibição de filmes em alta resolução diretamente na TV. A interface eSATA é outro destaque. Completam o pacote três entradas USB 2.0, Bluetooth e Wi-Fi-N Só faltou uma FireWire.

ASUS lança o Eee PC 1201N

A ASUS anunciou o lançamento nos Estados Unidos de seu novo netbook da linha Eee PC, o 1201N. O netbook é baseado na plataforma NVIDIA ION, possui tela de 12,1 polegadas com resolução de 1366 x 768, processador Intel Atom 330 dual-core, 2 ou 3 GB de RAM, disco rígido com 250 ou 320 GB de capacidade e vídeo NVIDIA GeForce 9400.

O 1201N vem com conectores D-Sub e HDMI, suporta Ethernet, Wi-Fi e Bluetooth 2.1, e vem com o Windows 7 Home Premium instalado.

De acordo com a ASUS, o Eee PC 1201N tem bateria com duração de até 5 horas e chegará às lojas nos EUA em dezembro por US$ 499 (pouco mais de R$ 860).

Asus Eee PC 1000HE

O modelo 1000HE está disponível com acabamento em preto ou azul brilhante, e tem um recurso que certamente chama a atenção: uma bateria que dura mais de sete horas.

O problema com uma bateria destas é que, bem, ela é grande. Ela cria um “calombo” próximo à dobradiça da tela, que acaba levantando a traseira da máquina da superfície onde está apoiada, o que torna o ato de usá-la no colo desconfortável. Ela também adiciona peso extra, o que torna o modelo da ASUS o netbook mais pesado desta seleção. Um quilo e meio? Que vergonha!

O teclado é meio apertado, mas confortável. O minúsculo trackpad é sensível a múltiplos toques, o que significa que você pode rolar uma página arrastando dois dedos sobre ele, ou aumentar e diminuir páginas web fazendo um gesto de pinça (obrigado, Apple!). Há quatro botões úteis na parte superior, dois deles podem ser atribuídos a seus programas favoritos. É uma boa idéia: quanto mais chances de fazer as coisas sem ter de lidar com o trackpad nanico, mas eficiente você se torna.

Asus Eee PC T91 heading to US

has added the to its US official website. The T91 sports an Intel Atom Z520 1.33GHz processor, 1GB RAM and 16GB SSD for storage. Weighs just 0.96kg, the Asus T91 has a 8.9-inch touchscreen display.

Disney/Asus Netpal Netbook for Kids

Disney has partnered with Asus to introduce the Netpal targeted at kids aged 6-12. Based on Asus’s 8.9-inch Eee PC, the Disney Netpal gets Atom processor and a 160GB hard drive. It supports WiFi.

The Netpal will come pre-installed with several Disney themes, including Mickey Mouse, Cars, Toy Story, WALL-E..etc.

ASUS already talking about a new Seashell netbook

The Eee PC 1008HA Seashell has only been out for a few weeks, and ASUS is already releasing specs for the new. The 10.1-inch netbook will feature Windows XP Home and a choice of either an Atom N270 or N280 processor. Another interesting feature is that the battery life is said to last for 10.5 hours (I'm not too sure how accurate ASUS is being with this statement). The Eee PC 1005HA will be equipped with a 160GB HDD and you will receive 10GB of complimentary online storage.

ASUS has not commented on the price or availability, yet. With a similar netbook already out, I think we can expect this one to not launch for a few months.

Asus Eee PC 1002HA Showing Up in U.S. Retailer Sites

Asus To Released Eee PC S121

According to, Asus is going to release a new model for the S series netbook called the Eee PC S121. The netbook is going to have a 12.1-inch display, while the other specs are expected to be similar to the Asus S101.

Asus has put up a for the Eee PC 1005HA. Overall, the netbook is quite similar to the Asus Eee PC 1008HA, except for having a replacable battery, and a little thicker and heavier than the Eee PC 1008HA. Asus still call the Eee PC 1005HA a Seashell netbook, which is the name given to the 1008HA earlier.
