NEC introduces two new netbooks of the LaVie Light series

NEC is back again with its two new amazing light netbooks of the LaVie Light series. The two newly introduced netbooks, dubbed LaVie Light BL300 and BL100 comes in a stylish square design to attract the mass.

As the reviews, the new netbooks from NEC belong to the LaVie series and due to their light weight has been named as ‘LaVie Light’. Although there are some news of the prices of these netbook series, but the international availability of the netbooks has not yet been disclosed.

The BL300 is powered by the Intel Atom N280 and clocked at 1.66GHz processor. The light netbook is further sported with a LED backlight display of 10.1 inches and 1024 x 600 pixels. As the features, the netbook is also equipped with Wi-Fi technology and 16GB Solid State Disk. Other specifications of the netbook includes a hard disk of capacity 160GB, 1GB RAM, webcam and Windows XP Home Edition as the operating system.

The BL300 light netbook supports IEEE802.11n Draft2.0/IEEE802.11b/g Wi-Fi and Bluetooth Ver.2.1+EDR. The available colors for the BL300 light netbook series are glossy white, black and red. The BL350 comes with a battery life of 7.4 hours while the battery life of BL300 and BL310 is around 4.2 hours. The BL300 series is available in three variants, the BL350 and BL310 are being set at a retail price of $725, whereas the BL300 is being priced at $625.

The BL100 on the other hand is powered by the Intel Atom N270 and clocked at 1.6GHz processor. It sis also featured with an LED backlight display of 10.1 inches and 1024 x 600 pixels. The BL100 light netbook is further equipped with a RAM of 1GB, 16GB of SSD, a webcam and Windows XP Home Edition as the operating system. The netbook also supports EEE802.11b/g Wi-Fi on board. The BL100 light netbook series in white is being set to retail at a price of $520.
