MSI Wind U100 PLUS netbook with Intel Atom N280 processor makes an official debut

True to the spirit of reusing old product names for new products in the electronics industry, MSI has just introduced the MSI Wind U100 PLUS, which essentially is just a regular netbook with a few added features in the form of an Intel Atom N280 processor and 802.11 n Wi-Fi. This netbook also comes equipped with a 160GB hard drive, built-in Bluetooth, 1.3 megapixel web cam, 4-in-1 card reader, 3 USB ports, VGA-out port, audio-out and mic-in ports and support for up to 2GB of RAM. All units of this model will come pre-installed with Windows XP Home Edition at retail and there will be choices of either 3-cell or 6-cell batteries for these. Available colors are white, black, red, pink and blue, though when exactly and for how much this netbook will sell wasn’t made known by the Taiwanese netbook maker MSI.
