Dell is expanding its Inspiron line with several new models, including the Mini10v netbook, slim and mini-tower desktop PCs, and new colour options for the Inspiron 15 notebooks.
As a lower-cost configuration to the Mini 10, the Mini 10v will come in seven colours for just $329, and offer basic features, including Internet access. It comes with a keyboard that's 92% the size of a standard model, along with 120 GB or 160 GB hard drive, and multiple connectivity options. It runs on the Ubuntu or Windows XP operating system, and incorporates a built-in webcam and Bluetooth (optional).
Starting at $499 is the Inspiron 15 notebook, which comes with a high-definition 16:9 display, optional hard drives and DVD burners, and other customizable options like multi-core processors and wireless networking. It will come in Jet black, Alpine white, Ice blue, Pacific blue, Cherry red, and Pretty pink.
Eight new colour options will be available for the Inspiron slim and mini-towers. These include Piano black, Pure white, Plum purple, True blue, Formula red, Tangerine orange, Flamingo pink and Spring green.
